    Queen Cleo Spiced Rum

    Queen Cleo Spiced Rum begins its journey as a smooth, dark rum, run in from the Caribbean. It is then fearlessly spiced in the UK using a bold mix of 10 botanicals; a luscious blend of caramel, pecan, vanilla, hidden spices and refreshing lime.
  • In 1740 Admiral Edward Vernon enforced a reduction in the strength of the British Navy's rum ration. When his men complained, Vernon suggested the addition of limes and sugar to make the drink more enjoyable. "Old J" has been created in honour of this unlikely mixologist who was known as "Old Grog". "Old J" however brings Vernon's concept into the 21st Century by using the finest Caribbean Rum combined with our Secret Blend of Spices, Sugar, Vanilla and Lime.

    Keeping with our tradition of making proper spirits, Cuckoo Sundowner Rum is made using a cracking combination of our home made Lancashire white rum, expertly blended with South American white rum. The best of both worlds! Aged for over six months in ex-bourbon whiskey barrels, our rum is then lightly infused with vanilla, cinnamon, clove, ginger and natural honey. The honey we use is made on our farm by our very own Lancashire honeybees who collect their nectar from the beautiful wildflower fields that surround our distillery building.
